Applications for research permits are submitted through the E-Services portal. Prepare your research protocol, institutional affiliation, and radiation safety plan before starting the application.
SNRRA mandates a multi-layered 'Defense in Depth' strategy for all radiological facilities. This includes stringent shielding requirements, mandatory real-time dosimetric monitoring for all personnel, automated interlock systems for high-dose areas, and quarterly third-party safety audits. Facilities must also maintain an updated Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) approved by the Authority to ensure maximum protection for both workers and the public.
The latest laws, decisions, and guidelines are published in the Regulatory Framework repository, and major changes are announced in the News & Media section.
